Dr. Who Scarf

I found a pattern for a Dr. Who scarf about a year ago on the web – but it was knitted and I don’t knit ..... so I used the original pattern to design my own version of this famous scarf.

Materials:

G-Hook

Worsted weight yarn (they suggested "double Wool")

I have doubled the amount of recommended because of the medium change, I make no guarantees.

Weave in ends, the scarf should measure over 6 ft.

Trivia:

Dr. Who would use the color changes of the scarf as a make shift ruler, a rope, a lure, and just about any thing else he needed on the spur of the moment.

The scarf was made for him by an alien race of women who were very much like the Vestal Virgins of old.

Dr. Who is no longer broadcast, except in re-runs. It ran from 1963 to 1986 in Britain, and came to the USA via PBS. Last year FOX-TV tried to revive the show, but didn’t feel it had the audience appeal they wanted.
